Earlier this month, a report claimed to shed light on HTC’s next Android flagship, codenamed “Hima.” Today additional details on that device and another new HTC phone have surfaced.
Upleaks, the source of the original HTC Hima rumor, has shared more purported features that are coming with the One (M8) follow-up. The Hima is said to measure 144.3 x 69.4 x 9.65mm in size. To compare, the One (M7) is 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3mm and the One (M8) is 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4mm. This new leak also suggests that the HTC Hima will be available in four colors — gray, silver, gold, and “gunmetal gold” — and that it’ll be compatible with accessories like the Active Headset, Dot View Case, DecoStand Case, Clear Case, Active Case, and Premium Screen Protector.
If this rumor is true, then the HTC Hima will be shorter than the One (M8) but also a tad thicker. Since the Hima is rumored to come with a 5-inch 1920x1080 screen just like the one on the One (M8), it’s possible that the Hima could have smaller bezels around its display. One of the complaints that some folks had with the One (M8) is that it’s a tall phone, so it’s nice to hear that the Hima may be a tad shorter.
The other device that’s been leaked is the HTC “A12.” The A12 is allegedly a mid-range phone that’ll offer a 4.7-inch HD screen, 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 2100mAh battery and Android 4.4. The A12 is reportedly set to launch in February 2015 on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon in the U.S.
