If you’re interested in adding some new apps to your Android device’s launcher and you just can’t wait for Amazon’s gigantic Free App of the Day bundle to go live later this week, Google’s got some nice deals that you can take advantage of right now.

Google Play is now hosting sales on a ton of apps, both of the regular app variety and of the game variety. Some of the notable discounts include Moon+ Reader Pro for $2.49, down from $4.99; Modern Combat 5: Blackout for $3.99, down from $6.99; Rayman Jungle Run for $0.10, down from $2.99; Rayman Fiesta Run for $.50, down from $2.99; GTA: Chinatown Wars for $2.99, down from $4.99; and Hitman GO for $0.99, down from $4.99.

There are quite a few good deals to be had in Google Play’s sale today. Both of the Rayman games are fun, easy to play, and offer short levels for killing just a bit of time, and Hitman GO is a great strategy/puzzle game if you’re into that sort of thing.
