December is turning out to be big for third-party Android keyboards. Earlier this month, Fleksy celebrated its first birthday, and now Minuum is pushing out a major update to its app.
Minuum 3.0.1 for Android is now rolling out with support for Android 5.0; themes focused on Material Design, Christmas, and textures; and special Lollipop themes that’ll change color based on the app that you’re currently using and the time of day. Additionally, the update brings “major improvements” to autocorrect, including better vocabulary for first-time users, and a multilingual typing mode.
Obviously this is a pretty major update for Minuum, the unique keyboard that offers just a row of letters and aims to automatically correct any mistakes that you make. Adding support for Android 5.0 is huge, and the special Lollipop themes that change the color of the keyboard based on the app that you’re in sounds pretty awesome.
If you don’t yet have Minuum, you can grab it from the Google Play store for $1.99.
