Heads up, Motorola DROID Turbo owners, because a nice little update is coming your way starting today.
Verizon has announced that it’s now pushing an update to the DROID Turbo that includes support for Advanced Calling 1.0, a feature that includes Voice over LTE for high-quality audio calls, one-way or two-way video calling and the ability to use voice and data simultaneously. Also included in this update is a small tweak — “Email Attached moved to top for easy viewing,” says Verizon — and some unnamed device stability fixes and security updates.
This update will bump the DROID Turbo up to build 21.44.8, and while it may not include Android 5.0, the inclusion of Advanced Calling 1.0 is a nice add. The update is rolling out in phases, so be sure to keep an eye out for it in your notification shade.
