Well, that didn’t take long. Shortly after we got wind of a new unlimited family plan promo from T-Mobile, the magenta carrier has confirmed its offers.
Starting December 10, T-Mobile will offer a family plan with unlimited talk, text and 4G LTE data. The base plan includes two lines for $100 per month and includes 5GB of tethering, unlimited music streaming from Music Freedom services, unlimited in-flight texting with Gogo and more. If you’d like to add lines to the plan, you can do so at a rate of $40 per month per line.
T-Mobile says that the unlimited family plan will be available “for a limited time.” If you do sign up for the plan, though, you can keep it for as long as you’d like.
If you’ve got more lines but would prefer not to pay more than $100 per month, T-Mobile is also bringing back its four lines for $100 promo that it originally offered back in July. The deal will give four lines a 2.5GB of 4G LTE data each month — that’s a total of 10GB — in addition to unlimited talk and text for $100 per month. Once 2016 rolls around, the monthly data allotment will drop to 1GB of data per month.
So there’s T-Mobile’s new offers. In an age where the only way to get unlimited data for your smartphone is to have a grandfathered plan from several years ago, T-Mobile’s new unlimited family plan could be worth a look if you’re a heavy data user in a good T-Mobile coverage area.
Are you going to sign up for one of the T-Mobile promo plans that are going live tomorrow?
