If you’ve got an AT&T-branding Samsung Galaxy Note 4 laying around, then it’s time to update.
The AT&T Galaxy Note 4 is now receiving a 223.71MB update that bumps the device to software build AUCU1BNK3. No, the update doesn’t bring Android 5.0 Lollipop, but it does appear to add Chinese language support. The other goodies in the update aren’t yet known because neither AT&T nor Samsung have posted official support documents for it yet.
The update is a biggie, so there’s like a few other tweaks included alongside the Chinese language support. Perhaps some bug fixes and performance improvements? That’s likely, but we won’t know for sure until some official support docs are posted online. Stay tuned and I’ll update you when they go live.
If you’ve got an AT&T Galaxy Note 4, you can check for this update right now by heading into Settings > About device, Software updates > Check for updates > OK.
UPDATE: According to an internal document leaked by Android Central, this update contains HD Voice support, the addition of the Amazon Shopping, Evernote and Softcard apps and other “miscellaneous improvements.”
