If you’ve got multiple devices that are signed into your Google account or have a job that involves managing several devices, you know that it can be a pain to keep track of all of that hardware. But because they’re logged into your Google account, that’s something that you have to do. Well now Google has made tracking your devices easier.
Google has launched a new Devices and Activity dashboard that shows all of the devices that are logged into your Google account and have been active on that account anytime in the last 28 days. Clicking on a device will tell you the last time that it was synced, the location that it was last used in, the device model and the ability to remove account access.
Google has also introduced a new security tool that’ll help users to activate or tweak security settings, like providing contact info for recovering an account.
Google accounts are a major part of life for many people, both personally and for work. Sometimes you can forget to log out of your account or turn off access on your old devices, though, or the devices may just become lost. Google’s new security tools aim to fix that by giving you the option to easily revoke access to an account or beef up security on one.
