Well, that was fast. Less than a week after Sprint began selling the Nexus 6, the big yellow carrier has cut the device’s price.
The Sprint Nexus 6 previously cost $299.99 on-contract, $0 down and 24 payments of $29 each or $696 full retail. Now all of those prices have been reduced to $249.99 with a two-year contract, $0 down and 24 payments of $27 each or $648 full retail.
“What about the people that bought a Nexus 6 from Sprint over the past six days?” you ask. Sprint’s going to give them a $50 bill credit, a leaked Android Police document shows, if they bought a Nexus 6 between November 14 and November 18.
This price change brings Sprint’s Nexus 6 in line with the prices of other retailers. For example, AT&T is charging $249.99 with a two-year commitment, T-Mobile is asking 24 payments of $27.08 and Google Play’s price is $649. So considering that and the fact that previous Sprint N6 buyers will get refunded the price difference, this looks like good news all-around.
