Last month, OnePlus launched a pre-order system for the One, allowing anyone to order a unit for the first time in the device’s life. Things didn’t exactly go smoothly, with OnePlus’s servers experiencing difficulties in keeping up with the traffic, which resulted in leaving customers unable to login. In a week, OnePlus is going to to try it again.
On November 17, OnePlus will once again open its pre-order system to allow anyone to order a One smartphone. Pre-orders will be available for one hour starting at 16:00 GMT/8:00 am PT/11:00 am ET. If there are OnePlus One units in stock when you submit your order, your unit will ship immediately. There there’s no more stock available, you’ll be given a pre-order and you won’t be charged until your device actually ships.
Just as before, OnePlus will also offer One accessories at “steeply discounted prices” when you bundle them with a OnePlus One.
OnePlus promises that “a lot has changed” from the last time that it offered pre-orders, so hopefully it’s more prepared for a large influx of orders this time around. It’s also worth noting that if you plan on pre-ordering a OnePlus One next week, you can prepare your order right now with your cart, shipping and billing info.
Are you going to try and snag a OnePlus One next week?
