Two weeks after Google and Motorola’s Nexus 6 was officially introduced, the new flagship Android smartphone is officially available for pre-order.
Google is now accepting orders for both the Midnight Blue and Cloud White versions of the Nexus 6. Pricing for the new Android phone is set at $649 for the 32GB model and $699 for the more capacious 64GB variant. In exchange for all of those hard-earned dollar bills, you’ll get a smartphone with the following specs:
The Nexus 6 is different from its Nexus predecessors in a few ways. Not only is it the biggest Nexus smartphone to date by quite a sizable margin, but it also bucks the recent trend of affordable Nexus smartphone pricing with its $649 starting price, which is more in line with other flagship smartphones. The good news is that the Nexus 6 is coming to all five major US carriers, so if $649 is too much for you to drop all at once, you might be able to get an on-contract unit soon. It's also worth noting that Google is also still selling the Nexus 5 for $349.

UPDATE: The Nexus 6 product page has been updated to reveal that anyone that buys an N6 before December 31, 2014 will receive a free 6-month Google Play Music unlimited trial.
