In the recent weeks, HTC and Motorola have confirmed that their flagship Android phones will be updated to Lollipop in the near future, and a leak has suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be updated in a swift manner, too. Now LG has come forward to say that it, too, intends to push Android 5.0 to its flagship smartphone soon.
LG Germany recently took to its official Facebook page to announce that it will update the LG G3 to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the fourth quarter. The LG G2’s update “will follow,” LG says.
Per usual, it’s worth noting that updates are often spread out based on market and carrier testing. Still, I’m sure that LG G3 owners are happy to hear that the Life’s Good crew is hard at work at keeping its flagship phone up to date. Stay tuned and once I hear more details on LG’s Lollipop plans, I’ll be sure to share ‘em with you.
