When the HTC Nexus 9 was first announced, Google said that its new slate would go up for preorder on October 17. However, if you don’t feel like waiting until tomorrow to reserve a Nexus 9 of your own, you don’t have to.
Amazon is now accepting preorders for the Wi-Fi variants of the HTC Nexus 9. Both the black and white models are available, and you can choose whether you want 16GB of storage or the more capacious 32GB model. The former will set you back $399.99, while the latter will cost you $479.99.
The HTC Nexus 9 features an 8.9-inch 2048x1536 display, 2.3GHz Tegra K1 processor, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear and 1.6-megapixel cameras and a 6700mAh battery. It comes preloaded with a vanilla built of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Google and HTC’s new Nexus tablet looks like a nice piece of kit, sporting brushed aluminum sides and high-end specs. The fact that it comes preloaded with the Google’s freshest Android dessert makes it even more enticing, and if you preorder a unit, you’ll be able to see what Lollipop is all about in early November.
Are you planning on preordering an HTC Nexus 9? If so, which model will you be getting?
