Following the Sony Xperia Z3’s international debut earlier this month, we may soon learn about its US travel plans.

Sony’s mobile division is now sending out invitations to an event that’s taking place in New York City on October 9. The invitation includes the words “Demand Great” but offers information on what Sony might show at the event.

So what does Sony have in store? Well, the Xperia Z3 seems a likely candidate. Not only has T-Mobile confirmed that it will offer the Z3 “this fall,” rumors have suggested that Sprint and Verizon might sell the device in the US as well. We haven’t heard anything regarding an AT&T launch, but perhaps Sony has finally managed to get its flagship on all four US major carriers just like its competitors HTC, Samsung and LG? We’ll have to wait and see.
