Eventually, a bigger iPhone was always going to happen. Yes, Apple took longer than every other manufacturer out there, but with consumers basically yelling on the Internet about how big phones are what they want, eventually it was going to happen. Here we are in 2014, and the wait is finally over. The iPhone 6, which measures in at 4.7-inches, isn’t the biggest iPhone, either. That title goes to the iPhone 6 Plus with its 5.5-inch screen.
So, bigger iPhones are here. For a lot of people, this is what they’ve been waiting for. An iPhone with a screen that’s bigger than 4 inches is what they’ve been asking for, and they’ve refused to switch because of the missing feature. Here we are with two new options, now, and what’s better is that they’re both available, ready for you to buy and make your own (as long as you can wait for it to get shipped to you).
Certainly, there is no denying that a lot of people wanted a bigger iPhone. Topping 10 million in sales in just a weekend’s stretch of time is impressive. Even if you aren’t a fan of Apple, you simply have to admit that that’s an impressive statistic. A lot of people have been waiting for this.
And so the obvious question is: did you pick one up? Moreover, did you switch from another platform to get your hands on it?
More than that, though, I’m curious in hearing from those who have been using the device since it launched on Friday, September 19. It’s been a few days now, and I’m wondering just what, if anything, you’d change about your new flagship handset. And I want to hear from just the iPhone 6 users at this point. (We’ll get to the iPhone 6 Plus users soon).
Me? I’d change the antenna bands. At this point, after my first impressions of the device have simmered down, I’m still just not a fan of them. I don’t hate them nearly as much as I did, but I still think they could have been designed better.
So, let me know what you’d change about the iPhone 6, if you’d change anything at all.
