The HTC Nexus 9 leaks continue to flow ahead of the device’s expected Q3 2014 debut! Following a leak from earlier this month that gave us a early preview of its official keyboard case, legit photos of the accessory have now surfaced.
Images of the Nexus 9 keyboard case (UG0B) have been discovered in China’s National Communications Commission database. The cover portion looks like an Apple Smart Cover, complete with three segmented sections that presumably can be folded and used to prop up the device. The key layout looks a tad different than the one in the sketch that leaked earlier this month, but as Android Police notes, those drawings were likely just an early representation.
Should the HTC Nexus keyboard case end up looking like this and make it to market, it looks like a nice add-on for the slate. The cover will provide some lightweight protection for the display, while the physical keyboard will let users get their productivity on while out and about. What will be interesting is seeing how much Google/HTC charge for the accessory.
