Well, that didn’t take long. Just hours after the Moto 360 officially went on sale, the round-faced Android Wear device has sold out.
Motorola confirmed today that the Moto 360 is now sold out in its own online shop, and both Best Buy’s website and the Google Play Store are saying that they’re out of stock as well. Motorola says that it’s “working hard to replenish stock” but cautioned that availability could be limited for some time due to the high demand.
So how can you get a Moto 360 if you we’re quick enough on the click today? Well, Best Buy will begin selling the wearable in stores on Sept. 14, so right now that’s looking like your best bet. Otherwise you’ll want to keep checking Motorola, Google and Best Buy’s stores and hope that you happen to be there when stock is being replenished.
The Moto 360 has been the focus of a lot of hype and lust ever since it debuted earlier this year, so it’s no surprise to learn that the device sold out just hours after its launch. Unsurprisingly, Motorola hasn’t said how many units it’s sold, but whatever that number is, I’m sure that Moto is pleased that the 360 has gotten a warm welcome.
