After prematurely outing its version of the HTC One (E8) earlier this month, Sprint today made the device officially official.
The HTC One (E8) is now available on Sprint’s website or through telesales for $99.99 with a 2-year contract or $0 down and 23 payments of $20.84 and 1 payment of $20.67 with Sprint Easy Pay. The One (E8) is available in Polar White and Misty Gray.
As far as specs go, we’re looking at a 5-inch 1920x1080 Super LCD display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 2600mAh battery. HTC has also included front-facing BoomSound speakers, Android 4.4 KitKat and its Sense 6.0 user interface.
The HTC One (E8) offers many of the features of its flagship One (M8) sibling, including a full HD display and front-facing speakers, but comes in with a much lower price tag. To compare, Sprint sells the One (M8) for $199.99 on-contract or for 24 payments of $27.09 with Sprint Easy Pay. So if you want an M8-like device but can’t or don’t want to pony up an M8-like price, the E8 may be worth a look.
