One of the big upcoming smartphone specs that’s getting a lot of people excited is the 64-bit processor. Apparently HTC is excited about the feature, too, because it’s got a 64-bit handset coming soon.

HTC took to Chinese social network Weibo to tease that it’s got an octa-core 64-bit smartphone in the works. No other details on the device were given.

So what might HTC be planning? Well, it’s suggested that whatever this device is, it could be packing a Snapdragon 615. This chip was announced earlier in 2014 as an octa-core, 64-bit offering. If that’s true, it seems likely that this HTC device is a mid-range offering.
