Is there a better way to start the week than with a new feature for one of your heavily-used apps? I’d say not!

Google is now rolling out a refreshed navigation feature in its Google Search app. The new navigation card looks similar to the Google Maps app, complete with a preview of the route, support for different methods of transportation and a big ol’ blue “Start” button to get your journey going.

This change doesn’t really affect your directions, but it does help to give navigation a more unified feel by adopting a look that’s already in use in the Google Maps app. If you want to check the refreshed navigation interface for yourself, fire up Google Search and get to mappin’!
