Looks like the HTC Desire 610 and Desire 816 will soon have another sibling to keep them company in the U.S.
According to Twitter user @upleaks, a new device codenamed “HTC A11” will soon be launching on Sprint. The phone, which is said to be a member of the Desire family, will reportedly sport a 4.7-inch 854x480 display, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, Android 4.4.2 with HTC Sense 6.0 and a Snapdragon 410 processor.
That last feature is what might make the otherwise entry-level A11 stand out. Announced at the tail end of 2013, the Snapdragon 410 sports 64-bit support. That’s good news for the A11.
There’s no word yet on when the HTC A11 will launch or how much it’ll cost when it does. Considering its lower-end specs and lack of front-facing BoomSound speakers, though, I wouldn’t be surprised if it were pretty gentle on the wallet.
