T-Mobile is the only U.S. carrier that’s released aa new Sony smartphone in quite a while, and if you’re one of the folks that picked up the Xperia Z1S when it launched earlier this year, you’ll be happy to know that a big update is headed your way.

Xperia Z1S owners on T-Mobile are reporting that they’re receiving an update to Android 4.4.4 today. Along with a bump up to the latest official version of Android, the update includes a transparent status bar, changes to the status bar and Quick Settings, support for Sony’s SmartBand SWR10 and a new boot animation.

This update is said to be rolling out over the air. You can check for it on your Xperia Z1S by heading into Settings > About phone > Software updates > System updates. If that doesn’t work, you can download Sony’s desktop software and update that way.
