BLU Products is a company that constantly releases a steady stream of smartphones, including the new Life smartphones and tablet that debuted earlier this year. Today that trickle of new products continues to flow with the arrival of the Studio C line.
According to BLU, the Studio C family of products focuses on offering “the best quality and design” at affordable prices. There are a total of four devices in the Studio C family, and here’s how they all break down:
- Studio 5.0 C HD: 5-inch 1280x720 display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB storage, microSD slot, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, 2000mAh battery, Android 4.4 and 850/1700/1900 or 850/1900/2100 3G 21Mbps HSPA+ connectivity
- Studio C Mini: 4.7-inch 800x480 display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB storage, microSD slot, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, 2000mAh battery Android 4.4 and 850/1700/1900 or 850/1900/2100 3G 21Mbps HSPA+ support
- Studio 5.0 C: 5-inch 854x480 display, 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor, 4GB storage, microSD slot, 512MB of RAM, 1800mAh battery, 3g 21Mbps HSPA+ support on the 850/1700/1900 or 850/1900/2100 bands
- Studio 5.0 CE: 5-inch 854x480 display, 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6571 processor, 4GB of storage, microSD slot, 512MB of RAM, 3.2-megapixel rear and VGA front camera, Android 4.4, 1800mAh battery, 2G 850/900/1800/1900Mhz connectivity
Pricing will be set at $149 for the Studio 5.0 C HD, $119 for the Studio C Mini, $109 for the Studio 5.0 C and $89 for the Studio 5.0 CE. All of the phones come unlocked and ready for use on a GSM carrier. They’ll be sold by Amazon as well as “thousands of dealer agent stores throughout the U.S.”
