The Moto X+1 has been dominating the Motorola rumor mill lately, but today we’re mixing things up with some possible new information on the follow-up to the Moto G.
Mallando no Android have shared what it claims to be an image of the new Moto G. The device in the photo is all black and features what look to be a front-facing speaker similar to the Moto E. We can also see a front-facing camera and a pair of Motorola prototype tattoos.
In addition to this image, some purported specs of the new Moto G have been leaked. The device is said to include a 1280x720 display, Snapdragon 400 processor, dual-SIM support and an 8-megapixel rear camera. To compare, the original Moto G features a 1280x720 display, Snapdragon 400 chip and 5-megapixel rear shooter.
The Moto G is a fairly mid-range phone, and so it comes as no surprise that it’s successor could end up being similar. The good news is that the Moto G is also reasonably priced, costing just $179 without a commitment. Considering how successful the G has been for Motorola, I’m betting that it’ll try to nail a similarly-affordable price point with the second Moto G.
