Love to read so much that you’re constantly consuming the written word on your smartphone, tablet or Kindle e-reader? If so, Amazon’s got a new offering that may be of interest to you.
Amazon today launched Kindle Unlimited, a subscription service that lets you consume all of the books that you can handle. Priced at $9.99 per month, Kindle Unlimited offers more than 600,000 Kindle books and more than 2,000 Audible audiobooks. Some of the titles available with Kindle Unlimited include The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Harry Potter books, 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Hunger Games.
Kindle Unlimited is compatible with Amazon’s Kindle e-readers as well as all of its mobile apps. That means that you can read on your iOS, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, PC and Mac devices.
Kindle Unlimited looks like a pretty sweet offering for voracious readers. Obviously it’s kind of a bummer that customers don’t get access to Amazon’s full library of ebooks, but with more than 600,000 titles available, I’m betting that most folks will be able to find some books that they’ve yet to read.
What do you think of Kindle Unlimited? Are any of you thinking about signing up?
