The Android 4.4.4 rollout continues!
Just a day after Android 4.4.4 began hitting the Moto G Google Play edition, users are now reporting that the latest version of KitKat is making its way to both the HTC One (M8) and One (M7) Google Play editions as well. As we’ve seen before, this update is primarily a bug-fixer, with Google saying that it “improves performance, security, stability and fixes bugs.”
The Android 4.4.4 update may not include any groundbreaking new features, but the fact that it includes security and bug fixes means that you One (M8) and One (M7) folk should probably download it ASAP. You can do just that by diving into your Settings menu and seeing if you’ve got an update waiting for you.
