The LG G Watch is expected to launch sometime in the second quarter of 2014, but apparently someone at Google just couldn’t wait any longer to spill the details on some of the Android Wear device’s features.
German sites Android Next and Android Pit claim to have spotted references to the LG G Watch in the Devices section of the German Play Store. While no G Watch images or product pages were leaked, the Play Store did allegedly list the wearable as having a “constantly active display” and 400mAh battery.
LG hasn’t officially announced any of the G Watch’s spec details, but a recent leak claimed that the device will sport a 400mAh battery along with a 1.65-inch 280x280 LCD screen and 4GB of storage.
With the end of the second quarter getting close, it seems likely that the G Watch will make its big debut at Google I/O later this month, that is if LG is sticking with its previous launch estimate. Today’s leak suggests that a release is indeed imminent and that the G Watch will be available through the Play Store.
Are you thinking about picking up the LG G Watch once it launches?
