It looks like Google Now’s bag of tricks is growing once again.
As noted by Android Police, some users are now receiving Google Now cards asking if they’d like to add an event to their Calendar based on conversations that they’ve had in Gmail. In the example above, we can see that Google grabbed information from an email conversation about a “HouseREwarming” and is asking if the user wants that event added to their Calendar.
Google has been scanning Gmail and using that data to present Google Now cards for quite a while, including for things like flight info and bill reminders. This latest Google Now trick seems especially handy since it can ask if you’d like to add upcoming events to your calendar in case you forget to do so yourself.
Have any of you spotted this new feature in Google Now yet?
