Apparently that Copper Gold Galaxy S5 isn’t the only Samsung device that Verizon is planning to add to its shelves in the near future.
An image that purportedly shows a Verizon-branded Samsung Galaxy Tab4 8.0 has leaked out this morning. Shared by @evleaks, the device looks similar to the Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab4 8.0 that debuted earlier this year, complete with a physical home button, capacitive Recent Apps and Back buttons and a faux leather backside. Just like its gold Galaxy S5 sibling, though, this unit includes a Verizon 4G LTE tattoo beneath its rear camera.
It’s unknown when this Verizon-bound Galaxy Tab4 8.0 will launch or how much it’ll cost when it does. However, Samsung is currently asking $269.99 for the Wi-Fi-only 16GB version of the Galaxy Tab4 8.0, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Verizon tacks on a $50 or $100 premium for its 4G LTE-enabled version.
As a quick refresher, the Galaxy Tab4 8.0 features an 8-inch 1280x800 display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 3-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 1.5GB of RAM and a 4450mAh battery.
UPDATE: A second image leak has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab4 10.1 is also Verizon-bound. Check out the leaked render below.
