T-Mobile announced this morning that it’s got two new Samsung devices headed toward its shelves. The first is the Copper Gold version of the Samsung Galaxy S5, which will launch online and in stores on May 30. T-Mobile says that this gold Galaxy S5 will only be available “for a limited time.”
The second device in T-Mo’s pipeline is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition. This T-Mobile version of the Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition is similar to the Wi-Fi-only model that debuted last year, meaning that it’s packing a 10.1-inch 2560x1600 display, 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot and an 8220mAh battery.
One feature that sets this T-Mo Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition apart from its Wi-Fi-only counterpart is its wireless connectivity. This new unit includes 850/1800/1900/2100MHz UMTS HSPA connectivity as well as support for LTE bands 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 17.
The T-Mobile Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition will be available for pre-order starting today, with a full launch planned for June 4. Pricing is set at $99.99 down with 24 monthly payments of $23 each.
T-Mo also notes that its Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition is eligible for free data as part of the carrier’s “Operation Tablet Freedom” promo. This means that buyers will get 1.2GB of free 4G LTE data each month through the end of 2014. After that, users will get 200MB of free data each month for life.
