Interested in seeing what the HTC M8 Prime looks like after yesterday’s spec leak? I don’t blame you. Thankfully, a newly-leaked image has surfaced today to satiate our appetite for high-end HTC hardware.
An image shared by @evleaks claims to show the rear camera setup of the HTC M8 Prime. The device appears to have a Duo Camera setup that’s similar to the HTC One (M8), complete with a dual LED flash and secondary depth camera. However, the main shooter of the HTC M8 Prime appears to jut out of the phone’s body, which isn’t the case on the One (M8).
That’s not the only leaky HTC goodness that I’ve got for you today. A render that purportedly shows the rear of the HTC M8 Ace has made its way online as well. The image was originally posted by Chinese blog ifanr and confirmed to be the real deal by Engadget.
The rumor mill suggests that the HTC M8 Ace will pack specs similar to those found in the flagship One (M8), including a 5-inch 1080p display and 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. There are two big differences between the One (M8) and M8 Ace that are worth taking note of: First up, the M8 Ace is expected to be made of plastic, not aluminum like the One (M8). Second is the M8 Ace’s rear camera, which appears to be a regular shooter and not the fancy Duo Camera found on the One (M8).
Based on what’s been rumored about the M8 Prime and M8 Ace so far, do either of these upcoming HTC handsets appeal to you? Or are you interested in the flagship HTC One (M8)?
UPDATE: @evleaks has shared another HTC M8 Prime leak. This time we’re being treated to a full 360 degree render of the device that makes it look a bit like a mashup of the HTC One (M8) and HTC EVO 4G LTE. You can check out the full spinning render right here.
