In the months following the HTC One (M8)’s debut, the rumor mill has claimed that HTC has mini and “Prime” versions of its new flagship in the works. Now a new report suggests that there’s a third One (M8) variant kicking around in HTC’s kitchens.
According to @evleaks, a device called the “HTC One Remix” will be released on Verizon. Unfortunately, those are the only two details about the device that are currently available.
We’ll have to wait until HTC, Verizon or the rumor mill share more about the One Remix before we know exactly what this thing is, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t speculate in the mean time!
It’s possible that the One Remix could be a music-centric device, as the term “remix” is often associated with reworked versions of songs. Plus, HTC has shown that it likes to release music-focused hardware, including Beats Audio support in the original One devices and launching a Harman Kardon-branded version of the One (M8) on Sprint.
What do you think that this HTC One Remix might be?
