Apparently the Droid Ultra and Droid Maxx aren’t the only Motorola devices that are about to undergo an update soak test.
Motorola is now inviting Droid RAZR HD owners to take part in a preview of an impending update. While Motorola doesn’t say exactly what the update contains, the registration link that says “RAZR HD KK 2014 soak reg” suggests that this is a KitKat-flavored update.
We’ve known for a while now that the Droid RAZR HD would be updated to Android 4.4, so it’s no surprise to learn about this update’s existence. That said, I’m sure that anyone rocking the RAZR HD as their daily driver is pretty pleased to learn that this update is getting close. Here’s to hoping that the soak test wraps up quickly so that the public push can begin soon.
