After first launching on Android and iPhone in mid-January and then hitting Windows Phone shortly thereafter, Beats Music today announced that it’s now making its way onto another device: the iPad.
The Beats Music app for iOS is now being updated to version 2.0 and is being made into a universal app in the process. That means that Beats Music now has a special iPad version, complete with the same features found on its iPhone equivalent. Beats says that the iPad version of the app also includes a “stylish and sophisticated interface” that was created specifically for the iPad.
Along with iPad support, version 2.0 of the Beats Music app includes a Find Your Friends feature for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. This allows users to find and follow their Twitter friends on Beats Music.
iPad owners have always been able to access Beats Music using a blown-up version of the iPhone app, today’s update makes Beats Music iPad-friendly and gives subscribers a much better way to jam out using their iOS tablets. Beats Music v2.0 can be grabbed from the App Store right here. Screenshots of the iPad app are available in the gallery below.
