HTC said last week that it planned to update the One (M7) with its Sense 6 overlay by the end of May, and now the company has updated its software update page with more information on the impending upgrades.
When it comes to the U.S., all versions of the One (M7) save for the T-Mobile variant are currently in the “Integration” stage of their Sense 6 update. That’s the third phase of HTC’s update process, and up next is carrier certification. Sprint and Verizon’s One max as well as AT&T’s One mini are in the Integration stage as well. Meanwhile, the Sense 6 update for T-Mobile’s One (M7) is in Development, which is the second stage of the process.
HTC has also refreshed its Canadian update page. All Canadian versions of the One (M7), as well as Rogers’ One mini, are in the Integration phase of their Sense 6 update process.
HTC has been extremely open about its updates in recent months, alerting users when a particular model’s upgrade has been certified and keeping us all informed with its official software update page. It’s good to see that HTC is keeping this up with the One (M7)’s Sense 6 update, which ought to bring with it an updated version of BlinkFeed and several other goodies to keep One (M7) owners content with their device.
How many of you are still rocking an HTC One (M7) as your daily driver?
