The unannounced Samsung device spec leaks continue! Less than a week after a report claimed to have details on Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S5 zoom, the feature set of a new Sammy tablet may have made their way online.
SamMobile claims to have the spec information on the SM-T800, which is reportedly a new Android 4.4.2 tablet with a 10.5-inch AMOLED display. Here’s what we’ve been told to expect from the device:
While Samsung is known for using Super AMOLED displays on its smartphones, we haven’t seen many AMOLED-equipped tablets from ol’ Sammy. There was the Galaxy Tab 7.7 that debuted in late 2011, but for the most part, Samsung has stuck to LCD panels for its large-screened devices. The combination of an AMOLED screen and 2560x1600 resolution ought to make this SM-T800 a nice tablet to look at, at least if these rumored specs hold true. There’s still no word on when the SM-T800 might debut, but if you’re in the market for a new Android-powered slate, this one might be worth holding out for.
