In the past month, we've seen the T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon and Sprint versions of the Moto X receive updates to Android 4.4.2. That leaves the AT&T model as the odd X out, but the good news for Big Blue subscribers is that it looks like that won't be the case for much longer.
According to an email received by Android Central, members of the Motorola Feedback Network are now being invited to take part in an "early preview of a new software release" for the AT&T Moto X. As is usually the case with these soak tests, though, there's no mention of exactly what changes this update may contain.
So what goodies might Motorola have planned for AT&T Moto X-ers? We won't know for sure until the update begins pushing out to users, but considering that Motorola has been busy updating other Moto X models to Android 4.4.2 in recent weeks, it seems like a pretty safe bet that AT&T's version of the Moto X will soon be treated to the freshest flavor of KitKat. I hope that you're hungry, AT&T Moto X owners.
