Last month saw Android 4.4.2 make its way to the T-Mobile Moto X, followed by the U.S. Cellular and Verizon models. Now it looks like Sprint Moto X owners are next in line to receive the update.
Motorola has updated its Moto X software upgrade page to show that the Android 4.4.2 update for the Sprint version of the X has been approved. Just like when it began rolling out to other Moto X models, the Sprint update includes a bump up to the newest version of KitKat, cloud printing, improved battery life and a fix for an email sync delay bug. The update will bring the Sprint Moto X up to software version 161.44.32.
Sprint hasn't made any official announcements regarding its Moto X Android 4.4.2 update, so it's not yet clear when the over the air push will actually get underway. Now that Motorola has added the update to its Moto X software upgrade page, though, the rollout shouldn't be too far off. If you're rocking a Sprint Moto X and want to snag your KitKat bump just as soon as it's available, you can manually check for the update by moseying into Settings > About phone > System updates.
