Pebble rolled its smartwatch app store out to both its iOS and Android apps earlier this year, and while the store itself is the same on both platforms, the company admitted that the Android version of the Pebble app had some issues that needed to be ironed out before a public launch could occur. A beta version of the new Pebble 2.0 app for Android was then made available, and since then Pebble has been busy updating the app and getting it ready for a full-on release.
Today Pebble officially pushed out version 11 of the Pebble 2.0 Beta app for Android. The update brings with it fixes that are said to offer "considerably" improved stability as well as firmware installation enhancements, fixes for sideloading issues and tweaks to make MyPebble load faster. The full changelog for the Pebble Beta 11 update looks like this:

Sounds like a pretty spiffy update. And while it's kind of a bummer that the app store-toting Pebble 2.0 for Android isn't quite ready for public consumption, it's good to see that the Pebble crew continues to improve the app and prepare it for the Play Store's virtual shelves. With the many fixes and "considerable" stability improvements that are included in this Beta 11 update, hopefully Pebble 2.0 for Android is nearly ready for primetime.
If you don't feel like waiting for the new version of Pebble's v2.0 Android app to officially launch, you can preview the update right now by hitting up Pebble's developer blog. The company notes that users that are already running the Pebble Beta app need to uninstall any previous versions before loading up Beta 11.
