What are you up to, HTC? The manufacturer today took to its official @HTCUSA Twitter account to share the image you see above, which depicts a couple of HTC Ones with shattered screens. Attached to the image was a caption that reads "If only broken hearts were this easy to fix. Details 2/18."
We're only four days away from HTC's announcement of whatever it's teasing, but that means that we've still got some time to kill before all is revealed. Time to speculate! The caption attached to HTC's broken phone photo mentions fixing things, suggesting that the the company may be prepping some sort of repair program, an interpretation that Android Central came to as well.
While iPhone owners can take their broken handsets to a nearby Apple store for a quick fix, there's not really a comparable option for users of other platforms. An HTC repair service could provide consumers with a quick, easy and reliable way to get their broken HTC products all fixed up. Whether or not such a program will actually come to fruition remains to be seen, but the good news is that it'll be less than a week before HTC (hopefully) gives us the answers to our questions.
Have you ever had a phone repaired? If so, where did you take it or send it to have it fixed?
