Hot on the heels of the arrival of Android 4.4.2 for the T-Mobile Moto X, it appears that two more versions of Motorola's flagship phone are either being updated now or will be shortly.
First up, U.S. Cellular has revealed on its Android Downloads page that a bump up to Android 4.4.2 is now available for its Moto X. The build number for the new update is KXA20.16-1.27, and while there's still no official changelog available, this update is likely similar to the one that hit the T-Mo Moto X earlier this week. That update brought with it support for printing over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hosted services, improved battery life and a fix for email sync issues.
In order to download this Android 4.4.2 update, U.S. Cellular Moto X folk will need to hunt down a Wi-Fi connection, latch onto it and then head into Settings > About phone > System updates > Download.
Meanwhile, a soak test for the Sprint-flavored Moto X is reportedly getting underway. Owners of the Sprint Moto X have told Droid-Life that they were recently invited to take part in a "preview software release" as part of the Motorola Feedback Network. Details on the update are light, but considering that the T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular Moto X models are now receiving Android 4.4.2, it seems likely that this update will bring the latest version of KitKat to Sprint's Moto X. Stay tuned and I'll give you a shout once more information on this fresh software release is available.
