After leaking out a few times in mid-January, the Sony D6503 "Sirius" suddenly stopped showing its face around the rumor mill. Thankfully that drought is coming to an end today, and what's more, this latest leak offers a peek at the Sirius on video.

YouTube user Rimas Flyil has posted a two-and-a-half minute video that purportedly shows off the Sony D6503 Sirius in action, complete with Android 4.4 KitKat running beneath Sony's custom overlay. The clip shows off the custom skin's new lock screen effect and a Walkman lock screen widget that can control playback and scrub through a song. Also shown in the video is Sony's Xperia Themes, which include options like Air, Earth, Heat, Silk, Sunny.

Near the end of the video, we're shown that the Sony skin includes a camera lock screen shortcut that's accessed by swiping up from the bottom of the screen, similar to the way that Google Now is accessible on other devices. From there, we're given a quick peek at the various custom camera apps that come preloaded on the C6503 Sirius.

The D6503 Sirius is rumored to be the follow-up to Sony's flagship Xperia Z1. Reportedly packing a 5.2-inch 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, 3GB of RAM and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera, the Sirius may not be a totally revolutionary upgrade over the original Z1, but its slightly larger display and additional RAM could help it to better compete with 2014 flagships that are coming soon from other device makers.
