After first appearing in last week's announcement of Sprint's Framily Plan, the big yellow carrier's Easy Pay upgrade program has now been given a proper introduction.
The Sprint Easy Pay program gives customers the opportunity to upgrade to a new device whenever they feel like it, provided that they're able to pay off their existing hardware. Sprint customers that want a new device can head to the carrier's upgrade page and check their eligibility. Then they can select a device, make a down payment and spread the rest of the unit's full cost out over 24 monthly installments. Easy Pay customers can upgrade again after paying off the remaining balance of their current device.
Sprint Easy Pay looks to be a replacement to the One Up early upgrade program that got the axe last week. This new offering sounds like it could be a decent option for phone addicts on Sprint that are constantly drooling over the hottest new handsets, so long as consumers keep in mind that they'll have to pay off their existing phone before being able to move on to another one.
What do you think of Sprint's Easy Pay program? Are any of you planning on taking advantage of it and snagging a new smartphone?
