Just as promised, Boost Mobile is now selling the Motorola Moto G through its online store. The no-contract device is available for $129.99 and includes free shipping. Boost customers that prefer ye olde brick and mortar shopping experience will be able to snag a Moto G from Boost Mobile stores starting Jan. 20.
The Moto G is compatible with Boost's $55 Monthly Unlimited plan, which includes unlimited talk, text and 2.5GB of high-speed data and unlimited throttled speeds afterward. Additionally, for each on-time payment made, Boost will shrink the cost of the plan by $5 per month to as low as $40.
Boost Mobile's version of the Moto G comes in at a full $50 cheaper than the base GSM model and is also one of the more affordable smartphones in Boost's lineup. In exchange for your hard-earned $129.99, you'll be getting a device with a 4.5-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera and Android 4.3, with a guaranteed upgrade to Android 4.4 coming as early as February. All of that makes the Moto G one of the best low-cost phones on the market, and any Boost customer that's in the hunt for a new device should check this thing out.
