Interested in snagging some new Windows Phone hardware on the cheap? Well sit down and whip out that credit card, friend, because Amazon's got a deal that you may want to be aware of. The online retailer is now offering the Nokia Lumia 1520 for just $49.99 with a two-year contract, which is a pretty hefty discount from the $199.99 price that the 1520 launched at last month.
Amazon's $49.99 price is good for all four colors of the Lumia 1520 and is available to new AT&T customers and add-a-lines. Existing AT&T subscribers that are looking to upgrade will pay $99.99 for the 1520, which is still a pretty good deal, while contract-averse consumers can expect to shell out $629.99 for a commitment-free unit.
The Lumia 1520 is the first Windows Phone phablet to hit the market, packing a 6-inch 1080p display and the latest Windows Phone Update 3 and Lumia Black software. It's also got some pretty high-end internals that include a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 32GB storage and 3400mAh battery, and there's also a 20-megapixel PureView shooter plastered onto its backside. All of those features combine to make what's considered by many to be one of the best pieces of Windows Phone kit on the market, and now AT&T customers can score a pretty sweet deal on this month-old device through Amazon.
If you've got adequately-sized pockets and are ready to adopt a Lumia 1520 of your own, you can find links to all four colors below.
