Verizon HTC One owners, your wait for Android 4.3 is nearly at an end. Mohammed Versi, HTC's Executive Director of Product Management, took to Twitter today to announce that the Verizon One's Android 4.3 update has received technical approval and is slated to begin rolling out over the air next week. There's no word yet on the exact start date of the push, but Versi says that it'll be "early" in the week.
The Verizon HTC One was originally slated to receive its Android 4.3 update by the end of October, but a last-minute issue required HTC to rebuild a new version of the update and pushed its rollout back indefinitely. It's kind of a bummer that owners of the Verizon One are being updated to Android 4.3 nearly two months after One users on other carriers, but hey, at least the fresh Jelly Bean goodness is nearly here. The good news is that HTC recently said that this delay won't affect the Verizon One's update to Android 4.4 KitKat, which is expected to arrive before the end of January.
