Samsung's Galaxy family is growing once again today with the introduction of the Galaxy Grand 2. The new Android 4.3 device features a 5.25-inch 1280x720 display that places it in between its Galaxy S 4 and Galaxy Note 3 siblings in terms of screen size. Also included with the Galaxy Grand 2 is a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot that will enable owners to add more space. Rounding out the spec list is an 8-megapixel camera on the Grand 2's backside, a 1.9-megapixel shooter around back and a 2600mAh battery that provides power to the whole package.

Samsung says that the Galaxy Grand 2 will be offered in white, black and pink in "selected regions" around the globe. Whenever and wherever it does launch, the Grand 2 looks like it ought to be a respectable mid-range handset, especially for folks that want a display that's big but not pocket-stretchingly huge. It's also worth noting that the Grand 2 will be available with dual-SIM support, so anyone that needs two SIMs for work or just because they're so darn popular that they need two phone numbers may want to keep an eye out for Samsung's newest Galaxy.
