Apple's new iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display may not be launching until November, but if you've already got an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad laying around, you don't need to wait to enjoy some new iOS goodness. The Cupertino firm is now rolling out an update to iOS 7.0.3, and as you can see above, this update is quite a bit more substantial than the bump to iOS 7.0.2 that rolled out last month.
One of the biggest new features found in iOS 7.0.3 is iCloud Keychain. This tool can store a user's passwords and credit card information and then sync it across multiple devices, eliminating the need for user to memorize his or her passwords. Also included is a password generator that enables Safari to suggest complex passwords for logins.
iOS 7.0.3 also brings with it a number of bug fixes. For example, there are two iMessage enhancements that are meant to address issues relating to messages that fail to send as well as instances in which iMessage itself would fail to activate. Other improvements include improved system stability when using Apple's iWork apps, a solution for an accelerometer calibration issue and a fix for a bug that could allow a user to bypass a device's lock screen passcode.
