It's been nearly a month since BlackBerry officially took the wraps off of the Z30, and while Verizon has confirmed that it plans to add the new BlackBerry 10-powered handset to its roster, there's been no word on exactly when that'll actually happen. BlackBerry fans in the U.S. don't need to wait any longer to get their hands on the Z30 and its 5-inch display, though, because the device is now available for purchase from online retailer GSM Nation.
Priced at $629.99 without any commitment, the BlackBerry Z30 is now in stock and ready to ship from GSM Nation's warehouse. This particular model is an unlocked GSM unit that supports the 800/850/900/1900/2100MHz flavors of 3G as well as 800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz 4G LTE connectivity. That means that this Z30 will play nicely with AT&T 3G in the U.S. as well as T-Mobile's refarmed 1900MHz 3G network.
With its 5-inch 1280x720 Super AMOLED display, the Z30 takes the crown as BlackBerry's largest smartphone to date. Also on board is a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 16GB storage, microSD slot, 2880mAh battery and a pair of cameras that includes a 2-megapixel shooter up front and an 8-megapixel camera around back. All of those features combine to make the Z30 the most high-end BlackBerry 10 phone available. Now that it's in stock and ready to make the journey to your doorstep, are any of you thinking about picking up a BlackBerry Z30?
