After being the only U.S. carrier to officially offer the Sony Xperia Z, it looks like T-Mobile will be teaming up with Sony on yet another new device launch in the near future. An image shared by @evleaks shows the backside of a Sony Xperia Z1, complete with a T-Mobile tattoo as well as branding that highlights the Z1's 20.7-megapixel rear camera.
Sony hasn't offered up much information on its launch plans for the Xperia Z1, saying only that the device would begin rolling out globally in September. We've since seen it start popping up in unlocked form at some online retailers, but we've yet to hear from any U.S. carriers that may be planning to add the Z1 and its beefy rear camera to their shelves. That's why it's good to learn that T-Mobile could end up offering the device to its customers. Now we just need to know when the thing will actually go on sale. Stay tuned and I'll update you with more details as I get 'em.
