If you Nokia fans aren't already sitting, you may want to do that before reading on. Ok? Ok. A new image posted by @evleaks has given us our first look at the Nokia Lumia 2520 in cyan, the Windows RT-powered tablet that the Finnish firm is expected to unveil at its event in Abu Dhabi later this month. In addition to this render, @evleaks has revealed that the Lumia 2520 will be available in black, white, the cyan model you see above and the red variant that's leaked out previously.
The Lumia 2520 leaks don't stop there, as a new report from WPCentral claims to have some details on Verizon's launch plans for the device. According to the site's source, Verizon is planning to add the 2520 to its shelves during the third week of November, possibly Nov. 17 or Nov. 18. It's said that the big red carrier will offer the Lumia 2520 in black and red at a price of $499.
Nokia is known for frequently offering its hardware in a range of colors, including usually a couple of brighter options, and so it's good to hear that that trend will continue with its Lumia 2520 tablet. It's especially exciting to learn that slate will be available in cyan, which is a color that Nokia used quite a bit in the past but has shied away from lately.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 will reportedly feature a 10.1-inch 1920x1080 display, 6.7-megapixel rear camera and quad-core Qualcomm 8974 (Snapdragon 800). It's expected to come preloaded with Windows RT 8.1, and when it comes to the AT&T and Verizon models, will likely sport 4G LTE connectivity as well. We've been hearing rumblings of a Nokia-made tablet for quite some time now, and so I'm looking forward to seeing the device finally make the jump from rumor to reality and finding out exactly how a Nokia tablet looks and performs.
